GRAPHIC I BRANDING DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
CLIENT: N.MARTINO - GOLF ACTIVEWEAR
For the N. Martino golf client collection, a comprehensive approach was taken to craft a cohesive visual identity and system that speaks to the brand’s essence. The design process began with a deep dive into customer profiles, followed by the creation of a concept board to define a clear visual language and direction. The collection was inspired by the athletic silhouettes and trimmings of 50’s and 60’s activewear, creating a nostalgic yet contemporary feel.
A carefully selected color palette was developed, aligning with the brand’s overall visual design strategy, while apparel pieces and accessories were designed to seamlessly integrate into the collection’s visual system. Illustrator-based CADs were used to create an intuitive merchandise lineup, ensuring a visually compelling presentation that communicated the collection’s identity and vision clearly.
In addition, packaging elements—such as the main label, care label, hangtags, and poly bags—were designed with precision to complement both the brand’s aesthetic and functional requirements. The design process extended to detailed flat sketches, technical construction drawings, and fully developed tech packs, all specifying fabrics and trims to support consistency across the collection.
Collaborating with factories in Italy and Asia, communication was key in translating the visual design system into reality. This included overseeing prototype development, conducting fittings, and approving fabrics and trims to maintain high standards of quality and precision in execution.
